Plastic windows and doors are an essential part of any modern home or office in Tbilisi. Over time, even high-quality PVC structures require maintenance: hardware wears out, sagging appears, cracks develop in seals or frames. In the humid climate and changeable weather of Georgia's capital, these processes can accelerate. I'm Ivan, a master with 8 years of experience, specializing in restoring the functionality of windows and doors of any complexity. My goal is to return your structures their airtightness, smooth operation, and aesthetic appearance. I use only quality hardware (Roto, Maco, Siegenia) and original spare parts in my work. Whether you need replacement of worn hinges, adjustment of sash pressure, or repair of a lock after a break-in – I'll diagnose and perform the repair on-site, without removal. I live and work in Tbilisi, so I can quickly visit any district – from Vake and Saburtalo to the Old Town and Digomi.
I arrive on site, visually inspect the window or door, check hardware operation, pressure, and seals. I determine the exact causes of the malfunction.
I explain to the client which parts need replacement or adjustment, quote the repair cost. If necessary, I agree on replacement with an equivalent brand.
I remove handles, overlays, or the sash to access the mechanisms. I clean the guides and lubricate moving elements with special silicone compound.
I install new hinges, handles, or locks, set the correct sash position along the axes. I adjust the pressure for winter/summer mode.
If there are cracks or chips on the frame/sash, I clean the damage, apply polymer sealant for PVC, sand it, and touch up the color.
I remove the worn seal, clean the groove, install a new rubber gasket (EPDM) with proper tension.
I check smooth operation, airtight closure, and lock function. I tighten screws and adjust micro-lift if needed.
I open and close the sash/door several times, check pressure with a paper sheet, ensure there are no drafts or sticking.
I give recommendations on maintenance: how to lubricate hardware, how to adjust pressure yourself, when to call a master again.
The client checks the work, signs the completion report. I issue a warranty certificate.
